Our Mission
Toward Jerusalem Council II (“TJCII”) is an initiative of repentance and reconciliation between the Jewish and Gentile segments of the Body of Messiah.
How Do We Achieve This?
- Invite and encourage church leaders and Christian scholars to play in active role in the restoration of the Jewish segment of the Body of Messiah.
- Facilitate repentance for the sins of Gentile Christians and the Christian Church against the Jewish people, especially for the suppression of corporate Jewish witness to Jesus, the Messiah.
- Invite and encourage the global Messianic Jewish community to engage in reconciliation and restoration, thereby fostering unity among the different streams and organizations within Messianic Judaism.
Our Vision
TJCII is led by an International Leadership Council (ILC) of fourteen leaders, seven Jewish and seven Gentile, who are broadly representative of the different international movements and churches, historic and modern that confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.
The ILC governs the activity to support the following vision:
Unite Jews and Gentiles for the Return of Jesus (John 17)
TJCII is working for worldwide reconciliation between leaders of both Christian and Messianic Jewish communities. Healing this first major split is necessary for unity within the Body of Messiah.
Work toward the Second Jerusalem Council (Acts 15)
The Jewish apostles of Yeshua welcomed Gentiles without requiring that they become Jews. TJCII is proceeding toward a second Jerusalem Council where the Gentile church will welcome Jewish believers in Yeshua complete with their Jewish identity and practice.
Encourage Unity That Leads to Restoration (Romans 11)
The work of TJCII is foundational for both Christian and Messianic Jewish ministries. When Jewish believers are grafted back into the tree, it will be “life from the dead” for all believers.
Preparing the Way for Yeshua’s Return: Zech 8
Restoring Jewish believers to their rightful place in the Body of Messiah prepares the way for Yeshua’s return and the fulfillment of His work of Redemption.
TJCII Leadership
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors directs the day to day operations to fulfill the Mission of TJCII. Our Board Members include experts and leaders from business and ministry backgrounds.
The TJCII International Leadership Council (“ILC”)
The Internaltional Leadership Council oversees the spiritual vision of TJCII. The ILC includes fourteen leaders, seven Jewish and seven Gentile, who are broadly representative of the different international movements and churches, historic and modern that confess Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord and Savior.
